I entered the sport of gymnastics at a young age and never looked back! I was a competitive gymnast for about 10 years, competing through level 8. When I moved to North Carolina for college, I made the transition from athlete to coach and fell in love with coaching. I have over 10 years of recreational and competitive coaching experience, as well as several years of gymnastics judging experience. I am always eager to expand my knowledge about the sport of gymnastics by attending national and regional congresses and working with a variety of coaches throughout the years.
My personal experiences with injuries while involved with gymnastics led me to my full time job as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I believe I bring a unique perspective to training, utilizing my background in exercise science to educate, train, and progress gymnasts safely. I understand the valuable skills that gymnastics can teach and loves watching children learn and progress through life and gymnastics. I am excited to be a part of the SGA family!
