I have been part of the SGA family since 2019 as a team parent, and I joined the coaching staff

in 2021. I am a mother of 3, and my two girls are both proud SGA team members. We have

lived in Raleigh, NC since 2012 after relocating from Virginia for my husband’s career. I have a

15+ year background in dance and fitness. I started classical Cecchetti ballet at a young age

and danced in a variety of styles through college and beyond. When an injury prevented me

from continuing in classical ballet, I began teaching dance and fitness as a part time job to my

career as a Pediatric Nurse.

As a team mother as well as a coach, I strive to create a supportive team atmosphere amongst the girls while bringing my dance experience into practice to help refine their presentation and grace. I am determined to teach them to have straight lines and pointed toes! As a registered nurse, I have also become known, jokingly, as the team medic. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know your wonderful athletes and being part of their gymnastics journey!
