My name is Nicole Spalla and I am a team coach at SGA. Gymnastics taught me the discipline, team work, and perseverance I required to succeed in life. I began gymnastics at the age of 2. I competed USAG level 8 prior to attending NC State University and competing on their club team. Throughout high school and college, I coached both recreational and competitive team gymnasts. Prior to leaving coaching, I was lucky to be the XCEL head coach leading a great team to victories.
I graduated from NCSU in 2018 with a major in Chemistry and minors in Biological Sciences and Genetics. I worked with Wake County as a Paramedic for 5 years during and after college. I now work as a document specialist at an immunology lab. Gymnastics has been my life for as long as I can remember and I could not stay away from the gym. I returned to coaching at SGA and am proud to work with an amazing staff and team.
