My name is Lauren Williams and I have been coaching gymnastics for over 10 years. Like most, I was a gymnast. Due to injury, it cut my career short. I always had a passion for the sport so I started coaching my junior year of high school and haven’t looked back since! I started my career coaching rec and cheer classes. Once I moved away for college, I started coaching Compulsory levels and within a year became the head compulsory coach. I moved back to the Raleigh area and starting coaching levels 6-10. After two years, I was named head coach of the women’s competitive program.

I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology from UNCA. I am engaged and we have a 10 month old daughter named Mayson. I love to travel, go to concerts, and love to cook. I am so excited to be joining the SGA family and thankful to grow on this journey together!
