Over the years I have “worn many different hats” - competitor, instructor, judge, coach, gym Mom, clinician, program director, regional representative, and Gramma of a gymnast. I started teaching and coaching gymnastics when I was in high school and have been teaching/coaching ever since. The Xcel Program has been my passion for the past 30 years and I feel fortunate to have been involved in writing the first set of rules for the Xcel as it was recognized as a national program.

Coaching and competing sparked my interest in judging. I have held judge’s ratings up to and including an international Brevet rating and have judged state, regional, national, and international competitions. I have two daughters and three wonderful grandchildren living in the

Raleigh-Durham area.
